A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Commerce City, CO. This contract opportunity offers a full academic year assignment, focused on delivering high-quality speech and language services to enhance students' communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students across K-12 grade levels.
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional expertise.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver interventions tailored to student needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience providing speech-language services within a school setting.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations relating to school-based speech therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and work independently within a contractual framework.
